Ling Shu Institut of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Who are we ?

L’Institut Ling Shu de Médecine Traditionnelle Chinoise, located at the heart of Geneva, is a private school specialized in advanced study in TCM (the name Ling Shu is the acupuncture’s bible name of TCM).

Students, doctors, osteopaths, physiotherapists who plan to study at our institute shall possess an academic background equivalent to cycle 1.

The cycle 2 training course teaches mainly the traditional diagnostic and the therapeutic methods, in combination with the essence of western medicine. Students will not only learn Chinese philosophy and culture but as well the clinical practice, which allows students to obtain the necessary knowledge and know-how of the profession.

Thanks to our close relationships with hospitals in China and Switzerland, our institute offers high-quality training where the focus is on the practical aspect both during the studies and the internship period.

Students have the opportunity to follow a three or five-year training program. The program for each year contains about 320 hours divided into 20 week-ends, among which 50 hours are dedicated to work-shop exercises on about two Fridays a month. Students who obtain the diploma, recognized by Asca and Rme and the department of health of Switzerland, will be assisted in going through all the necessary procedures to be enlisted for insurance compensation and be qualified for practice.
